Carwyn (he/him) is a Texas Bootblack who believes leather remembers every story ever told on it — and that he has been entrusted by the universe to coax those stories back to life one shine at a time. Carwyn came into Leather as Pup Romp — bright-eyed, howling, curious, and already enchanted. In 2016 he sat for his very first bootblack stand… and like all good fairy tales… that was the moment everything changed. He fell headfirst into the craft, into the gleam, into the intimacy of hand ,product,leather and soul. In 2018 he earned the title of South Central Community Bootblack and went on to become the First Runner Up International Community Bootblack — and he has been polishing and blessing leathers ever since. Carwyn is married to his partner, Fanon — his magical co-conspirator in life, kink, and education. Together they are teachers, lore-keepers, and mentors, tending the next generation of Bootblacks and Kinksters. Carwyn’s hands don’t just shine boots — they make magic. And his favorite trick? Helping you see yourself gleam.
